Babatunde Ojudu, former senator, last week disclosed to Sahara Reporters the real reason why President Muhammadu Buhari didn’t include prominent lawyer, Femi Falana into his ministerial list.
The foremost lawyer and human rights activist was written down by President Buhari as the next Attorney General of the federation.
According to Ojudu, Femi Falana was already packing his belongings and tidying up his dealings in preparation for his moving to Abuja, when he was contacted to reach out to a special power broker in Kaduna to seal his appointment, but the human rights lawyer denied.
Femi Falana was screened to become minister, but someone asked him to go and see someone in Kaduna, he refused – Ex-Senator Babafemi @ojudu

While, Ojudu did not give the name of the power broker Femi Falana was asked to go and see in Kaduna, but fingers point to Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, who is supposedly one of the most powerful men in the president’s inner circle.
If Falana had made the trip to Kaduna, he would have made the ministerial list and become the sixth most powerful figure in Nigeria.
Nigeria seems to have government this week as the Senate is set to screen the last batch of ministers tomorrow, October 20.
