When you've seen as much as these ladies have, you can pretty much teachanyonea "thing or two."
When you've spent over a hundred years in the school of hard knocks, aka life, people listen. The two oldest living women in the world don't claim to know the secrets to living as long as they have, but they are chock full of sage wisdom and pearls of humor. Both women had relatively short marriages, and have enjoyed years of being single (is this the secret?).
These women are nearing a point where they've spent as much of their life retired as they havenotretired (hopefully they've been cashing in on some pensions!) and if there's one thing to take away from their stories it's:
Always respect your elders.
